Microblading is a semi-permanent makeup technique that uses a specialized hand tool with microneedles to deposit colored pigment into the epidermis (the outermost layer of skin). Unlike permanent makeup tattoos Microblading has a few advantages, all related to the pigment being shallowly deposited. By far the most important advantage is the technician can create realistic hair-like strokes.
Ombre powder brows - is a technique that heals very soft and airy as if you just perfectly filled in your brows. Shading can be very soft and subtle or intensified for a dramatic look. Shading is less invasive than microblading and better suited for sensitive skin. Most clients choose a combination of both hair-strokes and shading which can look the most natural for very sparse brows.
Powder brows - are a great alternative to Microblading as it is suitable for all skin types since they are created with a tattoo machine rather than a handheld blade. Powder Brows leave you with a soft natural shape by using smooth shading to fill in the brow. It has the makeup done look.
Which brow service will give me the most natural look?
This depends on the client’s existing brow hairs! At the beginning of every appointment there is a consultation. I will discuss which method is most natural for you.
Which brow service is most suitable for me?
Again, this depends on the client’s existing brow hairs, skin type, lifestyle, etc. I can easily determine this in our initial consultation.
Am I eligible for a brow procedure?
You are ineligible for brow services if you are: pregnant, breastfeeding, diabetic, if you have glaucoma, skin diseases, keloid disorder, autoimmune disease, hepatitis, cancer/chemo, or if you’re taking skin medications like steroids. You must also be over 18 years old. There could be other factors that may determine if you are a good candidate or not for permanent makeup but it would have to be further discussed in a consultation.
Microblading Aftercare
Day 1 - I will give you a post care bag of everything you need for the healing phase. A pigment sealer will be applied to your brows after the treatment. Pat your brows dry with a clean cotton round or gauze provided every 5-10 minutes for the first 30 minutes post-treatment and then once every hour (or when you see lymph fluid oozing) until bedtime to soak up any lymph fluid that can come to the surface. This lymph fluid is clear, sometimes yellowish in color, and can dry and create scabs which can cause you to scab. This can affect how well the pigment is retained in the skin.
After 2 hours post-treatment, you will:
Wash your hands
Get a tiny bit of aftercare cleanser provided and gently wash in the direction of the hair. It is a LIGHT swipe, just to remove any excess oil and oozing
Rinse thoroughly to ensure all the soap residue is removed
Pat dry with a cotton round or gauze (a washcloth is too abrasive)
Apply aftercare balm with the lipstick applicator provided (rice grain amount will cover both brows, NOT rice grain on each) Remember, less is more. ** NEVER put aftercare gel on the wet or damp treated area.
Continue to pat dry with a clean paper towel or gauze until bedtime (then repeat the cleanse, dry and apply the gel process)
Day 2-9: Repeat this process of cleansing, drying, and applying the gel morning and night for the next 9 days. You can apply the gel once during the day to avoid getting extremely dry or itchy.
Day 10: Now, you may resume all normal activities. Yay! If any scabs or dry skin are remaining, it is ok to gently wash off.

WHAT IS EYEBROW LAMINATION?
A brow lamination treatment alters the shape of the eyebrow hairs, creating the ultimate look. Clients ask for this beauty procedure for several reasons, from achieving a uniform appearance to producing fuller, fluffy brows. The new sleek shape will last for weeks, and if you choose a kit that uses high-quality formulas, it can even aid hair growth. Plant based tint purpose is to cast a shadow by coloring the skin underneath to give the illusion of a fuller brow. Lasts up to 2 weeks on the skin and up to 4 weeks on the hair depending on skin type.
HOW LONG DOES A BROW LAMINATION LAST?
Laminated eyebrows should last for around 8 weeks, but the full and fluffy look can remain longer. It depends on several factors, from the condition of existing eyebrow hairs to the brow lamination products used. To keep the look as long as possible, it's vital to apply the right care to the brows in the first 24 hours to 48 hours post-treatment. Always listen to what your eyebrow technician says when it comes to aftercare advice.
WHAT'S THE BEST BROW LAMINATION AFTERCARE?
There are lots of things you can do to make sure the shape of the hairs is maintained in the first 24 hours to 48 hours after the brow lamination procedure.
If you want to apply makeup on the same day as your service, it’s A-OK!
Love swimming laps in a pool? Too much exposure to chlorine is not good for making that beloved tint last.
Good news! If you love a brow serum to further enhance your natural eyebrows, you can still use it on tinted brows. Just wait 24 hours after your service to apply.
If you’re out in the sun for a long period, be sure to wear a hat or shade yourself under an umbrella. Sun exposure can shorten the longevity of the tint.
